Joey Chan is a Registered Acupuncturist that is driven by the philosophy and holistic views of Chinese medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at UBC in Human Kinetics and went on to studying Chinese Medicine. She studied at the International Collage of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, Pacific Rim Collage in Victoria and Toronto School of TCM. She graduated with an Acupuncture and Herbalist Diploma and Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013.
Joey offers acupuncture with a very gentle, positive and holistic approach. In her sessions she may use a combination of Acupuncture, Cupping, Tuina and nutritional and lifestyle therapies.
Acupuncture is a safe and effective medicine for children and adults for a variety of conditions such as women’s health, fertility, gastrointestinal health, skin conditions, psychological health, pain and injuries, sleep health, anxiety and stress. Joey has a keen interest in neurological conditions such as Bells Palsy, stroke, and Parkinson´s.
Joey´s mobile service area extends from Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and North Vancouver. She provides her care in English and Cantonese.
